Cast of Characters

It occurred to me that I reference a lot of folks on the blog with odd names, and those who are new (or have short term memory issues like me) might have no idea who this or that person is.  So I am consolidating everyone here.

The Family:

El Jefe - Husband, Computer Guy, Excellent Chef, Great Mojo

G - Older daughter, Teenager, currently channeling Mary Stuart Masterson via "Some Kind of Wonderful"

S - Younger daughter, pre-teen, currently into making items out of duct tape

Iz, The Dog - Gone to heaven with Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.

Layla and Roxanne - Welsh Terror/Terrier puppies.  Expensive.  Cuddly.  Still learning where the bathroom is. 

Splash Marion - S's new (assumed) male Goldfish brought home from school in a pop bottle, still alive, deceased

Miss K - G's best friend who loves to model for me and is an honorary family member

Grandma - My Grandmother, whom G is named after

JMarie aka The Penguin Tamer - My younger sister (and her significant other, Tif)

The Prince - My handsome nephew who lives in Japan

T, Meg - His parents, who also live in Japan with him

SIL, BIL, Gorgeous Niece and Nephew - Located in the NC

MIL and FIL - Also in the NC

Mom, Dad, Step-parents, Aunts, etc. - Located here in MN

Friends:

Wench Posse - Group of friends who dress up and attend various Ren Fests and other costume opportunities together.  Some people we have known since high school, we are SO OLD.

The Cheap Chick - Long time best friend, thrifty (see blog roll), C-List Local Celebrity (per her admission), amusing, co-creator of the Wench Posse

Swimmer - Other long time best friend, living in WI, often hangs with Squid and is frequently in Hawaii or jumping into very cold water in January, WP member

Princess A - Actual princess at the MNRF, great role model for the kids, makes amazing jewelry, hair cutter to the stars, honorary family member, WP member

George/Georgie - Queen of the Grommeter, endlessly Popular, always cheery, laughs when you say "boning", WP member

TraynerShayne - the Chick and my personal trainer, Jack of all trades (there is NOTHING she can't do), married to Fireman, excellent positive attitude, WP member

Marti Potter - Met in the NICU when our babies were preemies, Theatre major, Potter extraordinaire (check out her link in the blog roll), great hair, very funny, married to Mechanical Man, Harley owner, WP member

Steph - Met in Jr. High, my doppelganger for modeling (despite the height difference), excellent cook, frequently Up North, WP member

HaC - the Chick's other best friend, mother of BooBoo and LooLoo, has an enviable shoe collection, loves Daniel Craig, married to The Blonde One, WP member

Lou - the Chick's other other best friend, Career Coach extraordinaire (see the blog roll), dresses up for Halloween, always up for a girl's night out, kind AND generous, mother of The Boys, married to Webmaster El, honorary WP member

DME - longtime gamer, likes wine and tea (although not together), loves a good motorcycle and Judas Priest, hand bell choir member, WP member

The Kilt-Lover - excellent with the embroidery machine, knows where all the good Kilt Nights are, co-creator of the Yo-Ho-Ho and the Huzzah, Radio expert, often seen with Vikings/Lions/Bears, oh my,  New WP Member. 

PirateCarol - Crafter extraordinaire, married to Leather Pants Man, mom to The Pirate Crew, Back In the Day Festie, The MacGyver of Crafting, sister to Natasha Richardson.  New WP Member.

Gluten-Free C - fellow Celiac, mother of 2, frequently bawdy and fun, always has a good joke, makes the best GF onion rings EVER, available for dating, WP member

Lawyer K - long time friend of my Mom's, currently playing our Bloody Mary, painter, artist, actor, director, multi-hyphenate, new WP member

Danger Kitty - works with fabric, Corset Cozy co-creator, maker of the Nelephant, witty, lives with The Hippy, sister of RocketDog (see blog roll), new WP (Probie) member

The Gay Blade - Our Henry, 6'7 inches of love, looks great in a Marilyn Monroe costume, only person I know with clear heels, honorary WP member

Shimmy - best friend of Princess, Belly Dancer, prettiest girl in the posse, mad dancing skills, mad costuming skills, tiny, new WP member

Runner Steve - terribly funny, mom of 2, married to Teacher A, does triathalons, often brings chocolate, honorary WP member

Jess - honorary little sister, excellent poker player (and dealer), frequently tan, covet her hair, fond of hats, WP member

Webmaster M - excellent graphic designer and blog header designer, tall, likes photography, Chip Kidd and Disney movies, honorary WP member

Sempstress - Favorite blog world costumer, fangirls of, master grommeter on bathroom sinks, honorary WP member
